An Opportunity To Be Involved With Gunnersbury Park
As the Restoration continues, there are paid and volunteering positions
Gunnersbury park, which is currently undergoing a huge Restoration, is seeking a Buildings Assistant, and also also looking for volunteers.
The CIC which oversees the Park needs what they describe as "a key person in ensuring the investment is protected through delivering facilities management, repair, maintenance and conservation of the listed buildings and other structures." You can read the job description here and the closing date for applications is December 9th 2018.
The Park also needs more volunteers. They say: "Volunteering is at the heart of our work at Gunnersbury. It’s through our volunteers that many of our projects and events are able to happen.
"If you enjoy history, horticulture, education or events and would like to get involved at Gunnersbury, there are many volunteering opportunities across the park and museum. We’ll give you any training you need. As well as being more involved in your local community, volunteering is a great way to develop new skills and meet new people. There will also be opportunities to visit other sites and enjoy various social events."
