Battle of the Bands at Watermans Arts Centre

Helen Martin Productions is once again organising a battle of the Bands to be held at Watermans Arts Centre on 3rd March.

Judges include:

Steve Parry – Dazzle Sound Productions, music producer and sound engineer http://dazzlesoundproductions.t83.net/
Phil Martin – rock/acoustic musician, composer and guitar teacher http://www.philmartinmusic.com
Young people who entered the Youth Battle in 2011
Lorraine Reeves of Mudkiss fanzine

Prizes

1st: 6 hour recording session with Steve (Dazzle Sound Productions) at the Arts Centre
      and be interviewed for Mudkiss  www.mudkiss.com

2nd  2 full band guitar/music workshops with Phil Martin

3rd   to be confirmed

There is only capacity for 8 bands to compete in this Battle of the Bands. In the event of a large number of bands entering the competition, selections will be made which will ensure a cross section of styles of music/performance.

Age: you must be 20 years or over at the time of the competition.

The downloadable entry form (.doc) must be returned by e-mail or post by 5pm  Friday 10th February 2012 to Helen Martin at info@helenmartinproductions.com  or 31a Queensberry House, Friars Lane, Richmond TW9 1NU

You must provide a reliable e-mail address and phone number for one main contact person in your band so Helen can let you know if you are successful and also keep you up to date with information such as timetable for soundchecking.

You will be notified on or by 13th Feb 2012 as to whether your application was successful or not this time.

Tickets will be £10 each for everyone whether performing or watching and will go on sale on 15th February 2012 from the box office at Watermans Arts Centre on: 0208 232 1010
