Proceeds to Microloan Foundation and the Church Fund
Chiswick Baroque will be performing a fund-raising concert at St. Peter's Church on February 19th.
This concert is being staged in aid of the Microloan Foundation which is a charity to help the poor help themselves. Small loans are given for projects in Malawi and the Philippines so families can set up in business and become self sufficient. The proceeds will be shared with the St Peter’s Restoration Fund.
Chiswick Baroque is made up of 5 singers directed by Celia Harper. They are all local people and extremely talented which is vital for unaccompanied singing. Their concerts have a spiritual feel to them and are dramatically staged with subtle lighting and sung from the balcony and different areas in the church.
St Peter’s is a very hospitable church and all visitors will be warmly welcomed.
