Health Clubs Get In A Spin For Charity

Hogarth and Park Club 24 hour charity Spinathon raises money for Access Sport

Members and staff at The Park Club and The Hogarth Health Club set their sights on smashing 2008's fundraising record when they embarked upon a 24 hour spinathon on Friday (9th October).

25 teams made up of between one and ten people from both clubs joined the event to raise money for sporting charity Access Sport.

Using Spin Cycles, each team member completed at least one hour of cycling whilst being motivated by Hogarth and Park Club instructors, coaches and personal trainers.

Group Marketing Manager Tim Slater said, "The evening was full of fun, dressing up and general silliness interspersed with food from Chef Salar, a few cans of Red Ball and some R&R in the jacuzzi for those not doing the whole 24 hours."

He continued, "Hopefully the 2009 Hogarth Group Spinathon will beat 2008's fabulous fund raising total of over £7000!"
