Quip Shed Comedy Launches at Linden House


Regular gigs planned for the first Thursday of the month at riverside venue

A new monthly comedy show is to take place at Linden House in Hammersmith on the first Thursday of every month.

The first Quip Shed Comedy Show is on 3 March and features Eshaan Akbar, Lily Phillips, host Lyle Barke plus headliner Glenn Moore

Eshaan Akbar, has appeared on shows such as 'Mock the Week', 'QI', 'The Now Show', 'Frankie Boyle’s New World Order', 'The Big Asian Stand Up Night', 'Sunday Morning Live', 'A Pie and a Pint', & many more.

He has also performed three sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as sell-out London transfers at the Soho Theatre. Eshaan has opened for Micky Flanagan, and supported Dane Baptiste, Hal Cruttenden, Jan Ravens & Rory Bremner on tour.

As seen on BBC3, All4, Comedy Central and ITV2, Lily Phillips was the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Runner Up, a Funny Women Finalist and part of the prestigious Pleasance Reserve last year.

Glenn Moore, is an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, actor, and one of the most prolific joke writers in the country. He is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Mock The Week, Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central and The Stand Up Sketch Show.

He can be heard daily as one quarter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio. His stand-up show 'Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It' was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He also toured the UK with his follow up Edinburgh show 'Love Don’t Live Here Glenny More'.

He is also a staff writer on the sketch comedy show 'Scrambled' and has written for 'The Mash Report', 'Play To The Whistle', and 'Russell Howard’s Good News'. He’s also known for his silly, off-beat one-liners on Twitter, which have earned him a large following.

The line-up is subject to change and this event is for people over the age of 18.

Tickets are £16.76 including booking fee.
