Free Kayaking Sessions on the Thames

Beginners welcome this Sunday

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Unit 5 Kew Bridge Arches, W4 3NG, London

North Side of Kew Bridge.

Free Kayak sessions starting approximately every 1/2 hour from 10:00am, until the last one at 4:00pm.

Sunday 28th September 2014.

There is no need to book, just turn up and try it out. Each session will last up to 1 1/2 hours. The sessions may be shorter if demand is very high. There are also other free activities in the vicinity to try out, like Stand Up PaddleBoarding.

This event is all part of the Thames Festival and TideFest, who have sponsored us, so that we can provide you with qualified coaches all day long.

Minimum age is 12 years old.

You may get slightly or very wet, so we advise you bring some suitable watersports clothing and a towel. e.g. old trainers, shorts/jogging bottoms, T-shirt/synthetic fleece. Jeans are not good, as they hold water if they get wet. If you really do end up a soggy mess, there are showers available.

We reserve the right to refuse participation to anybody who we believe may be a hazard to themselves or others, or who isn't courteous.

On Sundays trains run once an hour from Waterloo to Kew Bridge Station. Nearest tube and "orange line" overground is Gunnersbury. Buses 237, 267, 65, 391.

We look forward to seeing you.
