'Behind the Scenes' tour of Gunnersbury Park Museum

Booking required for this rare opportunity to visit the Mansion

A special 'free' tour which visits areas of the Museum not normally open to the general public.

During the tour you will be able to admire the views across Gunnersbury Park from the first floor windows, glimpse some of the 40,000 items currently in storage, and visit the original servants areas, including the Victorian kitchens.  You will be told stories from the Mansion's past as the former home of the Rothschild family and hear about our exciting plans for the Museum's future. The proposed £9.4 million heritage lottery project will restore the building, develop and expand the museum, and create more opportunities for learning and community involvement. Help us to shape these plans by giving your feedback over a cup of tea and a biscuit at the end of the tour!
