Did the mayors get stitched up at the embroidery exhibition?

On Sunday May 29 the new Mayor of Hounslow, Cllr Amritpal Mann, and the new Mayor of Ealing, Cllr John Gallagher, visited Gunnersbury Park Museum to meet the local artists who are putting on a new exhibition of their embroideries.

The Isleworth and District branch of the Embroiderers' Guild have based their exhibition on the theme of Heavy Metal. The exhibition is free and visitors are welcome to come and view, buy some pieces or have a go themselves, with help from the resident experts.

The exhibition runs from May 28 - June 19.

The museum is open from 11am - 5pm every day, including the bank holiday.
