Ealing Central & Acton Inter-Community Hustings

An opportunity to meet the candidates and hear election issues discussed

A hustings event for the constituency of Ealing Central & Acton has been organised by a group of local migrant organisations

Working in collaboration with the Migrants Rights Network and The Forum the group hope to give you the opportunity to meet the candidates and hear where they stand on important issues before you decide who to vote for.

The event take place at Hayashen, 105A Mill Hill Road, W3 8JF on 13th April from 5.30pm to 7.30pm

All the parliamentary candidates for Ealing Central & Acton have been invited and the Labour candidate Rupa Huq and the Liberal Democrat candidate Jon Ball have confirmed their attendance.

If you are planning to attend e-mail: m.rahman@migrantsrights.org.uk.

The group are reminding people to register to vote. Because the system has changed from household registration to individual registration, many people are no longer registered. Unless you are 100% sure you are registered to vote, you can bring your national insurance number with you to this event, the deadline to register is the 20th April. There will be volunteers to help you register before it’s too late.

The Churchfield Community Association (CCA) is hosting another hustings at Acton Town Hall on Wednesday 29 April at 7.30pm. 5 parliamentary candidates have agreed to take part, from the Conservatives, Labour, Lib Dems, UKIP and the Greens.
