The Greenings of Brentford End: 18th Century Royal Gardeners

The Brentford and Chiswick Local History Society are hosting and event on 18 September , 7.30pm at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Bourne Place, London W4

There will be an illustrated talk by Val Bott entitled The Greenings of Brentford End: 18th Century Royal Gardeners about several generations of the horticultural family who ran royal gardens at Kew, Richmond, Kensington, St James' Park, Windsor and Hampton Court.

The Society's talks usually take place on the third Monday of the month. They meet at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Afton House, Bourne Place, Chiswick W4, starting at 7.30pm. Remember that Afton House does not open until 7pm.
