Archaeology and You at Kew Bridge


Discover the range of historical finds being made locally in the Thames

Come and explore your local history with a stroll along the Thames foreshore in the company of leading Thames archaeologists, Dr Fiona Haughey and Mike Webber.

The walks beging at Brentford Arch, Kew Bridge Arches, Strand-on-the-Green, W4 3NG.

Handle objects dating from thousands of years ago to more recent times and hear about their history.

Pre-booked Discovery Walks take place at the following time: 12.15-12.45, 13.00-13.30, 13.45-14.15, 14.30-15.00

From 12.00-16.00 there is an exhibition of archaeological finds from the Thames on display in the Brentford Boating Arch which is free to enter.

Cost: £5 per person and there are 16 places are available per walk. The event is suitable for ages from 8 to 80 yrs. All 8-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Footwear – sensible shoes or wellies. Gloves are provided for you.
