Celebrating Older People

Nominate someone who makes a difference

Do you know a special older person who makes a difference?

AgeUK Ealing (previously known as Age Concern Ealing) is celebrating older people's day on 1st October 2012.

They're looking for nominations to celebrate the contribution older people make to the family and society. This could be as a carer, a foster carer, running guides/scouts/brownies or running games club.

The winners will be selected by a panel and will be awarded certificates of recognition on 1st October. The Mayor and other key people in Ealing have been invited.

Children can also take part and primary school pupils in Ealing can take part in a drawing/painting competition to celebrate their fun time with an older person.

More details of the competition are available here.
