Fight Hunger, Eat Out This October

Local restaurants join Action Against Hunger’s international campaign

A number of local restaurants have joined an international campaign to fight hunger in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Carluccio’s, Chula Restaurant, Eco, Giraffe, Sam’s Brasserie and Bar, The Black Lion, The River Café and Tiffin Box have all signed up to Restaurants Against Hunger to help raise vital funds to help families who struggle daily to feed themselves.

'Fight Hunger. Eat out' month takes place this October, coinciding with World Food Day on the 16th.

Organised by Action Against Hunger, food lovers across the nation are invited to help fight hunger simply by eating out.

Stanch supporter of the campaign and one of the driving forces behind Sam’s Brasserie, Rick Stein said “I believe it is important to take positive action. Together we can work towards a hunger-free world; a world where everybody can have enough food to eat and access safe drinking water; a world where no child goes to sleep hungry."
