La Trompette's William Bonfield hosts pop-up restaurant evening for charity
Inspired by working at a couple of the Putney Pop-Up nights in aid of Action against Hunger, William Bonfield, assistant manager at Chiswick's La Trompette, is arranging his own Pop-Up night to help raise money for the Haitian Relief Fund.
Called "Rising Stars", the event will take place on Monday March 22nd at The Phoenix 162 164 Lower Richmond Road London SW15 1LY.
William has assembled a young and enthusiastic team of sous-chefs and assistant managers who have worked at several of London's top restaurants including La Trompette, The Goring Hotel, L'Autre Pied, Odette's and The Box Tree.
William and his team are being supported with incredible generosity by Macken Brothers who are donating the meat, Secretts Farm, who are supplying salads and vegetables, Italian produce has been donated by Ninai Zarach who owns the Manicomio restaurants and bread from Ottolenghi.
In five years time, if not sooner, these super-talented young professionals will be running all the best restaurants in town. So it's going to be something of an historic night.
