Do You Want to See More 220 Buses?

TfL has launched an online consulation asking people if they agree there should be more buses on the 220 route.
The 220 bus route is a 24 hour service which runs from Willesden Junction to Putney and Wandsworth via Scrubs Lane, Wood Lane, Shepherd's Bush Green, Hammersmith Broadway, Fulham Palace Road and Fulham High Street to Putney Bridge.
The current Monday to Friday peak period frequency is a bus every 7-8 minutes with additional journeys during the busiest hours in the busiest direction. In order to provide extra capacity TfL are proposing to increase this to every 6-7 minutes in both directions throughout both peaks.

Please give TfL your views by completing the online consultation form by 23 December 2011.
Subject to the comments received, these changes would happen in summer/autumn 2012.
The consultation is part of the process which fulfils the requirement for TfL to consult under Section 183 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999.
