Council info as to what you can do
The council has been inundated with offers from people wanting to help those in the borough affected by the recent riot.
Five people were made temporarily homeless during the incident, but the council has been working directly with them to ensure they have accommodation while their homes are repaired.
The council says any additional offers of help from those who live or work in the borough are welcome.
Donations can be made to the Mayor of Ealing’s Relief Fund, set up in memory of Richard Mannington Bowes who died after being attacked during the riot, while trying to put out a fire.
Traders also need help and support more than ever - so eat, shop and buy local wherever possible and as much as possible.
There will be an all day community event taking place on Friday 26th August. Show your support.
