Ealing Central Has Highest Number Of Local Residents Signing Revoke Petition

23,000 have called on government to ditch BREXIT and remain in the EU

A petition calling for the government to Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU has now been signed by almost 6 million people.

A live breakdown shows how many in each paliamentary constituency have put their name to the petition. Locally, more people in Ealing Central and Acton have signed with latest figures showing nearly 23,000 (31% of the electorate) at a rate of 23 an hour.

In Ealing North, the figure is lower 9,996 ( 13.4%) 19 per hour and in Ealing Southall its 8,273 (12.7%) currently 4 an hour.

The petition will be debated after breaking the 100,000 threshold for consideration and becoming the best-supported proposal in the history of the House of Commons and government’s e-petitions website.

However the government says stopping Brexit would ‘break promises’

A petition set up in opposition calling for the UK to immediately leave EU on 29 March currently stands at just less than 600,000 signatures.
