Take Part in an Ealing Residents Panel

Have your say on issues that concern the area

Ealing Council wants more local people to join its online residents’ panel and have a say on issues that affect them and their local area.

The residents’ panel, which currently has more than 1000 members, was developed for local people as a platform for voicing opinions about important issues facing the borough. Residents can sign up to become part of the growing online community at www.ealing.gov.uk/residentspanel

More residents are being encouraged to sign up to the panel to help ensure a greater representation of people across the community.

Councillor Yvonne Johnson, cabinet member for finance, performance and welfare said:
“It’s essential that residents participate in conversations on local issues to help ensure that the decisions being made are in the best interest of communities in the borough.”

“The panel offers an easy and convenient way for people to engage in the local decision-making process. It is designed to be flexible and convenient so that residents can pick and choose which local issues, plans or policies they want to get involved with, and what feedback and ideas they would like to put forward.”

Increased input from people of all ages, backgrounds and areas in Ealing will help ensure decisions being made take into account the views of a wider group of people across the borough.

Consultations can cover all aspects of council services and civic engagement such as housing, public health, licensing, and roads and transport.

Upon registering, panel members will be invited via email to take part in online consultations, research activities, focus groups and workshops. There is no obligation to participate in each consultation.
