Hard plastics can now be taken to the dump
Garden furniture and children’s toys can now be recycled in Ealing as a new hard plastic recycling service is launched at Greenford Re-use and Recycling Centre.
Hard plastics include: garden furniture, buckets and flower pots, children’s toys, bowls, storage boxes and plastic coat hangers.
If you have broken or unwanted plastic items, bring them down to Greenford Re-use and Recycling Centre on Greenford Road and help to reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill.’’
Many items can be recycled at Greenford Re-use and Recycling Centre including some that residents may not be aware of. The list below highlights some of the more unusual items which can be recycled.

There is also a Re-use and Recycling Centre on Stirling Road, Acton where residents can recycle a range of items.
