Police in Ealing are appealing for information, following an incident that happened at 9:46pm on Sunday November 15th on Avenue Road, W3.
A 28 year man was walking along Avenue Road when he was approached by an unknown suspect who poked him in the left buttock with an unidentified, penknife-style object, before fleeing the scene.
Once at home, the victim realised that he had been wounded and called London Ambulance Service for assistance. The victim was later conveyed to Charing Cross Hospital for further treatment before being released.
The suspect is being described as a 20 - 25 year old black male, around 5’11” tall of medium build. He was wearing a black bomber-style jacket with red motifs.
TDC Davies from Ealing Borough Police Critical and Violent Crime Unit in Southall said: “This appears to be a motiveless and unprovoked attack on the victim.”
