Crime prevention activities and safety and security advice
On Monday 25th January Southfield Safer Neighbourhoods Team will commence a ‘Week of Action’ in partnership with Ealing Council Community Safety Team to enhance current activity addressing residential burglary. This joint initiative will continue until Friday 29th January 2010.
Activities will be directed toward crime prevention and reassurance which will be offered to the residents of Southfield ward and for the most vulnerable residents free home security products will be supplied.
If you require any advice regarding safety and security, a ‘Crime Prevention’ stand will be deployed at The Avenue, W4, junction with Southfield Road, W4.
This will be open daily from Monday 25th January until Thursday 28th January, operating from 10am - 3pm.
Sergeant Helene Holloway of Southfield Ward Safer Neighbourhoods Team said, "We have welcomed the assistance of 52 Neighbourhood Watch coordinators who have helped publicise the event among residents in their respective NHW areas.
"Southfield SNT ward panel members have also offered their assistance to with the staffing of the crime prevention stand during this event."
Sergeant Holloway added, “I believe this initiative will prove to be another fine example of partnership working with our local community and Ealing Council”.
