Collections with black bin waste or at parks until end of January
Between Wednesday 3 January 2018 and Friday 26 January 2018, you can leave your real tree on the front edge of your property, to have it taken away for recycling.
Trees will be collected on the same day as your refuse collection (black bin) each alternate week.

Tree trunks must not exceed 20cm in diameter, or be more than six feet tall (taller trees can be cut in two). Please ensure all decorations are removed.
Alternatively, you can also take your Christmas trees to one of the council's parks and open spaces, up until Wednesday, 31 January 2018.
Reuse and recycling centres
You can also take your real Christmas tree to one of the reuse and recycling centres across the borough. The reuse and recycling centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, but will otherwise remain open during the Christmas and New Year period.
Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport, environment and leisure, said: “Whether it's excess food waste, packaging, or your Christmas trees - we are making it easier for you to recycle on your doorstep. All of the Christmas trees that we collect get turned into nutrient-rich compost so it’s a great way to get your new year off to a green start.”
“This Christmas and New Year we have even more to celebrate as we continue to achieve outstanding recycling rates. Ealing is currently recycling 50.7% of household waste and is the second best performing borough in the entire of London. When you consider that the average rate for the capital is 33% it puts into perspective the achievement of the borough and the hard work of our residents.”
