Whisk Wins Its Third Award

Local cookshop named Best Independent Homewares Retailer in the country

This year has been an incredible year for local cookshop Whisk. Entering its third year of trading Whisk has received three awards nationally and internationally.

It all started at the Excellence in Housewares Retailer Awards last October where Whisk Cookshop won two awards for UK Best Newcomer and Best Retail Initiative (reflecting the Whisk Kids programme of in store hands on cooking fun for children).

However this has all been topped by the local cookshop winning its first International award. They are now the proud recipients of a Global Innovator Award (GIA) for being the “Best Independent Homewares Retailer (UK)”.

The GIA recognises excellence in housewares retailing around the globe, Tracy Kynoch and Simon Griffiths, owners of Whisk, were presented with the award whilst visiting the International Industry trade show in Chicago.

Simon stated “All of these awards reflect the hard work and dedication of the staff at Whisk and the company’s strong commitment to excellent customer service, and desire to bring the best in cookware to Chiswick and Ealing”

Tracy added “we would like to thank all of our customers for their support since we opened nearly three year’s ago and their enthusiasm for what we are trying to do has been fantastic!”

Whisk’s overall ambition is to be more than a cook shop; it aims to be a forum to encourage and help people to cook as well as provide the right equipment. The ranges are hand picked with the objective of being stylish, functional and inspirational.

Whisk was the proud recipient of a GIA at this year’s International Housewares Awards ceremony in Chicago. The GIA (Global Innovator Award) recognises excellence in housewares retailing around the globe.
