Dublin Trip for Tara

Local club plays in Kilmacud Crokes Camogie Sevens

Tara Camogie Club travel to Dublin this weekend to take part in the Kilmacud Crokes Camogie Sevens after celebrating a well deserved victory over Erin go Brath of Birmingham (2-1 to 1-0), in this their most recent Junior League game.

This year Tara CC have reached the Junior Championship County Final against firm rivals Green Isles which is to be played on Saturday 30th September. Since winning the double in 2004 Tara CC enter both a Junior and a Senior team into League and Championship competitions.

With this in mind, all standards of players are welcome; from beginners to All-Stars. Training takes place at Tir Chonaill Park, Greenford. Matches are usually on Saturdays/Sundays and the season runs from March to November. If anyone is coming to London to work or study and wishes to carry on playing camogie, please contact Sheila Fernandes on 020 8561 3544 / sheila.fernandes@talk21.com or see: www.camogie.co.uk.
