Campaign launched to clean up Kew Bridge Station

Alexander Northcote demands answers from South West Trains

Alexander Northcote, the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Brentford & Isleworth has launched a campaign to get Kew Bridge Station cleaned up.

Northcote (pictured right) said, “Following a number of complaints received by my office, I have taken this up as an important issue. Kew Bridge Station is in a high-profile location and is an eye sore to everyone who uses the station and everyone who has to drive past it.

“There are weeds growing out of the windows and peeling paint everywhere. It is not acceptable and I am determined to get something done about it.”

Alexander Northcote has started his campaign by writing to South West Trains’ Customer Service Director, James Burt, to get his view on the building and what the organisation intends to do about it.

“South West Trains has to do something about this situation. Even though they might not be the ultimate freeholder of the building, they should be leading the campaign to have the station cleaned up.

“I intend to keep piling on the pressure until this has been sorted out.”

Kew Bridge Station serves trains on the Hounslow Loop line.
