Action Girl Amanda Seeks Mini Stars for Pop Video

Opportunity for your action kids to have a great day out with the stars

Dubbed, the female Pied Piper of West London, Amanda Frolich, is about to film a pop video to help in her one-woman battle against childhood obesity.

The video will be shot at the Clapham Grand and at various locations in and around the London area in June. Aside from hundreds of children, the video will also feature celebrities from the world of TV, Theatre and Sport including Jason Donovan, Tanya Briers, Cathy Shipton, Tim Lovejoy, Phil Greening, Eddie Kidd, Jason Finn, Kirsty Gallagher, Eagle E and Doc B, DJ Sassy, Princess and many more to be confirmed.

Amanda, who runs interactive children’s workout sessions incorporating music and movement, recently released her first pop song. The aim of the video is to get children up and moving and grooving, having fun and exercising at the same time – Amanda firmly believes that keeping children fit and active now will help avoid obesity problems later on.

Amanda is looking for children aged 5-12 years old to star in the video that will be shot at The Clapham Grand on the 26 th June 2004 between 12pm-3pm. The fun event will be a real family day out with surprise celebrities, refreshments and lots of entertainment to keep the children hooked and active between takes. A nominal entrance fee of £2 will be charged per person, with all profits going to the charity Anaphylaxis Campaign that helps children and adults live with life threatening allergies. Each child will receive a copy of Amanda’s CD worth £4, it’s sure to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Amanda says “I am just so excited about the filming of my pop video. It means I will be able to bring my interactive children’s workout sessions right into families homes and encourage kids to get up and move with their mums and dads rather than sitting on their bottoms just watching the telly!”

Dr R Alvi, General Practitioner “Amanda’s physically stimulating and fun filled classes provide an activity based regime that I feel helps to augment and promote an exercise based learning environment which in turn may help prevent obesity in children.”
