Loss of green space in South Acton proceeds


Council announce intention to dispose of park land

The controversial proposals to build more housing units on the South Acton recreation ground moved a step closer this week. The Council have issued a public notice in a local newspaper announcing their intention to dispose of part of the park. This allow building work to take place at the southern end of the park near the railway lines.

Any comments or representations on this matter need to be made by February 17th in writing to: Tony Raphael, Head of Housing Investment Options Team, Ealing Council, Perceval House 14/16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2HL.

Details of the plans for the site can be seen at the Change Base office on the Bollo Bridge Road.
