May Bank Holiday Rubbish
Collections one day later but NOT for late May bank holiday
Recycling and rubbish collections, including garden waste, will be one day later than usual following the early May bank holiday.
The revised collection days for the week beginning Monday, 2 May are outlined below. Collections will return to normal on Monday, 9 May.

Refuse and recycling should be left at the front boundary of properties, or in a place which does not block the pavement, by 7am on the revised collection day.
The re-use and recycling centres at Stirling Road, Acton, and Greenford Road, Greenford, will be open as usual throughout the bank holiday period. Residents disposing of DIY waste should note that the weighbridge closes at 4.30pm between 1 April and 30 September.
Residents are advised that collections
will not change for the late May bank holiday (30 May). This is because the new recycling and rubbish collections will start the following week (6 June) so crews will work on the 30 May to help with the service change on the following week.
And when the new rubbish and recycling service starts in June, collections will always take place as usual on bank holidays, instead of being rescheduled, apart from over the Christmas period.
