Action group urges residents to come along and show support
The long awaited planning inquiry into the future of Reynard Mills takes place next week on:
The Inquiry will take place in the ground floor function room at Hounslow Council’s Civic Centre in Lampton Road (pdf map)
The Inquiry will open at 10.00am each morning and sit, with a break for lunch, until around 5.00pm.
The Inquiry is open to the public. Anyone can come along for as long as one wants and arrive and leave at any time.
If you want to address the Inquiry, you do need to be there when the Inquiry opens at 10.00am on Tuesday in order to register with the Inspector.
At the Inquiry the developer will argue that the Council’s refusal of the application for 275 flats and houses, with 995 residents, should be overturned and the development should be allowed to go ahead.

Both barristers will be supported by specialist witnesses.
Windmill Road Action Group has been granted “Rule 6” status, which means that they will be able to question the specialist witnesses. They are asking as many local residents as possible to attend the hearing and show support for the decision to refuse the application.
Councillor David Millican, Northfield Ward Councillor and Conservative Group Leader said
"This scheme is still too big. The extra 1,000 people will generate so much extra traffic causing mayhem on the busy and narrow Windmill Road and also rat running along the residential roads.
'' As there wouldn't be enough car parking spaces on the site the extra residents will inevitably clog up the neighbouring roads.

The Inquiry will be conducted by a senior planning Inspector, who will prepare a detailed report with recommendations.
The final decision will be taken by a government minister after referring to the Inspector’s report and recommendations.
