Council's recycling team hosts free seminars for residents
Do you have a home composter that you have struggled to twig on to? Do you already compost at home but would like some handy hints on doing it better? Or, have you not tried composting because you are not sure of what to expect or how to get started?
Well all is not lost as Hounslow's Recycling Team would like to invite you, and your friends and family to a Composting Workshop.
The team will lead an informative session in which they will impart all their knowledge of composting fruit and vegetable peelings, tea bags and coffee grounds, grass cuttings, weeds, woody and soft prunings in a fun and hands on way.
The workshop is free to attend and available to all Hounslow Borough residents.
Additionally, every household that attends the workshop will receive a free home composting guide!
Saturday 23rd September – Chiswick Town Hall, W4 4JN

Saturday 30th September - Southville Junior School, Bedfont Lane, TW14 9NP
- 10.00 - 11.30am
- 12.30 – 2.00pm
Booking is not necessary, simply turn up to the session that suits you best.
Refreshments will be provided, and please arrive 10 minutes before your session is due to begin.
