Super Glamorous Coffee Morning at the Park Club

Spa beauticians help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support

Nails were bright and super shiny at The Park Club Acton last Friday, when staff at the The Park Club Medispa ran a glamorous coffee morning with all proceeds going directly to Macmillan Cancer support.

Head of Beauty Kellie Lloyd, Practice Manager Lisa Balcombe , Ania and the other Medispa beauticians offered fantastic mini-manicures and pedicures in return for donations to the charity. There was tea and coffee and fantastic cakes and pastries : a real feast for everyone to enjoy.

Many thanks to The London Cake Shop for the fabulous cupcakes, Colairo's Coffee Caterham for the cheesecake, The Park Club kitchen for the pastries and all the Medispa staff who personally baked cakes . A delicious time was had by all.

The event was part of the 26th September World's Biggest Coffee Morning - Macmillan's biggest fundraising event, where people across the UK are asked to hold a coffee morning to raise money for people living with cancer. In 2013, 154,000 people signed up, raising a record £20 million. Macmillan charity helps make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.
