Brentford FC Are The 'Bees Knees' This Christmas


Generous donation of presents for patients at West Middlesex Hospital

Players, supporters, staff and directors at Brentford Football Club have made a huge donation of Christmas presents for patients at West Middlesex University Hospital. The have filled three large sacks to the brim with presents for children and adults who are being cared for at the hospital over Christmas.

Tony Ashley, Operations Manager, who made the donation on behalf of the club, presented the gifts to delighted staff who look after older patients on Crane Ward. The gifts will be distributed to wards across the hospital.

Tony said: "At Brentford Football Club we feel very privileged to be fit and healthy, and we wanted to help in some small way people who are unwell and needing hospital care over Christmas. Last year we donated to local hospices and this year we wanted to donate to our local hospital. We have people of all ages involved with the club and we wanted to reflect his in the presents we give. It's been a joint effort from everyone."
