Massive Pub Company Calls In Administrators

Future currently uncertain for a number of locals

Massive Pub Company, who own The Black Lion in Hammersmith, L'auberge at the Castelnau and The Telegraph in Putney amongst others, has called in the administrators.

'Manager of the Telegraph - Nick Stafford said, "I can reassure locals that it is and will continue to be business as usual at the Telegraph, any change in ownership would not bring about any dramatic changes only improvements to the lovely site.'

It is understood that the company, which has put almost all of its 46 sites into administration, did so after a deal to sell off some of them collapsed.

Managing Director Peter Linacre is understood to be looking to acquire a number of the sites although it is not certain if L'auberge at the Castelnau, which is currently closed, is amongst them.

Massive comprised of five main groups: The Tups, L'auberges, Thomas & Carter, Massive Unbranded and Charbar.
