Lifesyne hospital - Ravenscourt Park

State of the art diagnostic centre opens in West London

Technology offers the chance of identifying serious illnesses early

Lifesyne advanced diagnostic imaging centres specialise in detecting the signs of disease at the earliest, most treatable stage. The first Lifesyne centre in the UK, opened in Ravenscourt Park this Wednesday for anyone at risk of developing colorectal and lung cancers, as well as coronary heart disease. By using the latest pioneering technology, accurate diagnosis can be achieved by highlighting abnormalities, which may be early indicators of disease, when there is a greater course of treatment options.

The Lifesyne Diagnostic Imaging Centre at Ravenscourt Park Hospital is equipped with Londons first General Electric advanced 16 Detector CT scanner which generates hundreds of detailed cross-sections of the scanned organ called slices, in as little as ten seconds.

Dr John Costello who heads Lifesynes medical board stated "We work ethically in partnership with the medical profession to help at risk individuals take advantage of early disease detection technology before they are symptomatic. We believe that through awareness of risk factors and accurate early diagnosis, pre-emptive medicine will become far more widespread. In fact, our vision is that every at risk individual either through health condition, age, or genetic predisposition should have access to a Lifesyne scan."
