Close to 40,000 each day expected at Lovebox and Citadel Festivals

Lovebox

A series of road closures and parking restrictions are to take place during the Lovebox and Citadel Festivals in Gunnersbury Park on 13-15 July.

Close to 40,000 people are expected each day and the organisers are adopting the 'Mela' plan and are using the same company that handled that event when it has been held in previous years in the park.

Popes Lane is to be closed between North Circular and Gunnersbury Drive with access only for London buses and the service station. Gunnersbury Lane will be closed between 8pm - 1am from North Circular to Bollo Lane on a daily basis.

Parking will be suspended for both residents and non-residents on Gunnersbury Drive, North and South of Gunnersbury Lane from North Circular to Bollo Road and on both sides of Popes Lane from North Circular to South Ealing Road.

Roads where access and parking will be open to residents only:
Lionel Road North Sunderland Rd
Durham Road Olive Road
Rose Gardens Cedar Grove
Beech Gardens Ash Grove
Elderberry Grove Knight’s Avenue
Tudor Way Baronsmeade
Lillian Avenue Gunnersbury Gardens
Princes Avenue The Ridgeway
Park Place Gunnersbury Crescent
Knightsbridge Avenue Manor Gardens
Outside the International School of London (A406)

Full diversion and road closure maps can be found in this presentation online (pdf).

Resident Access stickers will be issued to affected roads, along with a letter detailing this
information and other useful info and contacts.
