More lane closures are to take place on the North Circular due to works to demolish and replace Power Road Bridge, which carries the A406 Gunnersbury Avenue over the railway lines near the B&Q store.

As part of these works, Transport for London plan to reduce the A406 Gunnersbury Avenue to one lane, in each direction, at the following times:

- 08:00 on Saturday 3 June to 18:00 on Sunday 4 June
- 21:30 on Monday 5 June to 05:00 on Tuesday 6 June
- 21:30 on Tuesday 6 June to 05:00 on Wednesday 7 June

They say these changes are needed while we widen the eastern carriageway. Widening is necessary so that traffic can be maintained, in both directions, when they demolish and rebuild the western section of Power Road Bridge later this year.

They will be working 08:00 to 18:00 on 3 and 4 June, and overnight from 21:30 to 05:00 on 5 and 6 June. They do not expect these works to be noisy, although the area may be busier than normal.

Vehicle access to the A406 Gunnersbury Avenue bridge will still be possible from both directions during the works. A temporary 30mph speed restriction is in place between the Chiswick Roundabout and Park Place Drive.

Following these temporary changes, the current road layout will be reinstated with two lanes southbound and one lane northbound.
