Hundred Firefighters Tackle Factory Blaze


Smoke from Park Royal fire could seen from Chiswick

Ten fire engines and around 100 firefighters attended a blaze this Wednesday (29th August) at a range of factory buildings on Standard Road in Park Royal.

The Brigade was called at 13.47 but smoke could still be seen from as far away as The Avenue in Chiswick two hours later as well as from offices in the West End.

Nobody was hurt in the fire which was in an industrial area well away from any residential properties. London Fire Brigade are currently investigating the cause.
