Chiswick based charity, the Epilepsy Research Foundation, has a few guaranteed places remaining in the FeelfineBritish 10K London on 1 st August 2004 for runners willing to raise over £100 in sponsorship for the Foundation. The Feelfine British 10K London is a mass participant charity-based running event following an attractive 6.2 mile route through the heart of central London (Piccadilly – Pall Mall - Trafalgar Square – Embankment – St Paul’s Cathedral – Embankment – Whitehall).
If you were inspired by the Marathon but feel daunted by the distance, why not contact the Epilepsy Research Foundation about guaranteed race entry for the Feelfine British 10K London and get into training now! 10 kilometres – 6.2 miles – is a comfortable distance for most people (with appropriate preparation) and even the most leisurely participant can expect to cover the route in less than 2 hours. Entrants must be at least 15 years old and able to complete the course within 2 hours.
The Epilepsy Research Foundation, based in Chiswick, is the only charity in the UK to raise money for independent scientific research into epilepsy and its causes. It has granted over £2 million to research projects over the last 12 years.
