Rearrested in Chiswick House grounds last night
Police have re-arrested a man who was on the run. Kieron Lee Kerswell (23) was captured in the grounds of Chiswick House shortly after 8 pm last night (July 22).
A police helicopter had been called in at around 7.30 pm to assist police in the hunt.
Last week police had appealed for help in tracing Kerswell, who absconded from a bail hostel in Richmond borough.
Kerswell, 23, who was serving a sentence for handling stolen goods, was wanted by police after officers discovered he was not at his registered address on June 20 and subsequent enquiries failed to locate him.
A police spokesman confirmed today that they had made an arrest in Chiswick House Grounds and that the individual was Kieron Lee Kerswell. He was taken to Chiswick Police Station.
