Murder investigation launched as Brazilian chef is killed
A Brazilian man was shot and killed on Friday night in Fletcher Road, W4. He has been named as Carlos Eduardo Cegove Moreno (pictured right) aged 23. He was a chef at a local school and lived in the Acton area.
He was gunned down just after pulling up on his moped outside the house of a friend he was intending to visit at Holmes Court.
Police were called about the incident at 9.07pm and an air ambulance was sent to the scene but Mr. Moreno was pronounced dead. The post mortem later showed the cause of death to be a gun-shot.
Officers from the Specialist Crime Directorate (SCD) are investigating. There have been no arrests and police are keeping an open mind as to motive.
