Car hits pedestrian and then speeds off with smashed windscreen

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to a serious fail to stop collision on the A4 in Brentford in the early hours of the this morning (Sunday).

At about 00:24 hours police attended the scene of a collision at Great West Road junction with Windmill Lane, Brentford, Eastbound towards London where it is believed a red BMW car was in collision with a pedestrian.

The red BMW failed to stop at the scene and made off Eastbound along the A4 towards London. The car sustained frontal damage including a smashed windscreen.

London Ambulance Service attended the scene and took the man to a central London hospital. The man is suffering from life-threatening injuries.
