Thieves take advantage of the warm weather


As elderly victim leaves her side gate unsecured

On Thursday 11th May 2006 at around 18.30 thieves broke into a home in the Gunnersbury Triangle.

The 82 year old lady was doing some gardening at her Park Drive home and had left her side gate unlocked.

Unknown suspects entered the house, went into a room and stole the woman's bag which contained cash, a mobile phone and spectacles with a total value of about £280.


The incident has prompted local Police to issue a warning that now the warm weather has arrived thieves will be looking for opportunities such as this.
