New website for gay men

Local project goes on-line to reach their target audience

Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Gay Men’s Project has re-launched it’s website at the new address www.westlondongmp.org.uk

The new-look website provides information about everything from sexual health to how to report a homophobic incident and has links to other local and national services.

A specific section for young people allows young gay and bisexual men an opportunity to find information and services that are specific to their needs.

Simon Mitchell, Head of the Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Gay Men’s Project, said “With more and more people going online, the new site will provide relevant and accurate information to a greater number of gay and bisexual men of different cultural, economic and social backgrounds in an easy to understand, user-friendly and exciting way.”

Other sections of the website include how to join the Project’s free condom and lube membership scheme, details of its freephone helpline number and how to access its successful stop smoking groups.

“The Source” health information brochure can be downloaded from the site, as well as quarterly briefing papers for healthcare professionals.

The site will be updated regularly with news and helpful advice and aims to be an essential resource for gay and bisexual men in West London.
