40 five minutes plays in two days from exciting up and coming writers on the theme of Mad Love, taking place on April 28 and 29.
Each presentation will feature 20 writers and 25 actors.
These will be followed on Wednesday April 30 by a preview of a new play by Rikki Beadle-Blair called Manoeuvres.
After staring death square in the face during overseas duty in Iraq, Corporal Aaron Pliskin returns home with a new-found determination – to come out, find a boyfriend, fall in love, get married and be the first to move his husband into married quarters in barracks. The real war is just beginning. But where’s the real battlefield? Basrah, the barracks or the bedroom?
Rikki Beadle-Blair presents the Team Angelica AmBush is a pop-up three day festival of theatre curated by the award-winning writer/director/mentor/force of nature Rikki Beadle-Blair.
The festival includes free lunchtime seminars at 2pm to motivate you, free 6pm mini-gigs to stimulate you, and nightly main-house theatre that the Bush promises will rock your world.
