Now we have set ourselves this high standard, we want to try and raise the bar even higher. Over the past year we had developed crucial relationships with the public which we will maintain and strengthen. We want communities and businesses to be confident and proud about working and living in the area with the knowledge that their LPT is here to support and assist them."

"I love my current role - as a Cadet instructor and as someone that is also running a Junior Police Cadet unit, I know that I am making a change and want I push them towards experiencing all of the amazing opportunities that I have had."

Award winning Ayesha joined the Cadets in Hounslow three years ago. Her many achievements include a Duke of Edinburgh Silver award and she's well on her way to achieving her Gold award. Through sheer determination, she is actively recruiting new Cadets in Hounslow, the second borough to launch Junior Cadets, a programme which reaches out to children as young as ten.

Chief Superintendant Carl Bussey, Hounslow Borough Commander said: "I am delighted that the hard work and dedication of the Hounslow Town Centre team and Ayesha Razzaq has been recognised in the Commissioner's Awards. The work of the Hounslow Central Neighbourhood Policing Team in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow has significantly reduced crime in the town centre making it a safer place for all - and this work will continue."
