Every year, the Tabard Theatre delights adults and children alike with their special Christmas plays and this year is no exception with their production of The Snow Queen.
Adapted from the short
story by Hans Christian Andersen, the creative team that brought you the
Tabard’s Five Children and It and The Secret
Garden now brings an unforgettable and thrilling
adventure for the whole family.
Embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime magical quest,
Gerda faces the disappearance of her best friend Kai,
taken by the enigmatic Snow Queen. Unless Gerda
acts swiftly to rescue him, Kai faces eternal
entrapment in an icy, endless winter.
Adapted faithfully from the original story, this in-house production is adapted by Louise Haddington and directed by the
Tabard’s Artistic Director Simon Reilly.
A perfect family show for Christmas, The Snow Queen will take you on a magical journey of
