St Augustine's Priory School October Open Day

Parents invited to the Autumn Open Day

St Augustine’s Priory is the top performing school in Ealing for GCSEs in 2014 (Department of Education League Tables, January 2015). Our results are excellent and we pride ourselves on instilling in girls a love of learning. We are an Independent day school for girls aged 3-18. We are an all-through school are experts in educating girls. We are relentlessly dedicated to preparing girls to be highly effective women in the workplace and in the world.

St Augustine’s is a unique London school set in 13 acres of beautiful grounds looking out over the Thames Valley to the Surrey Hills. We are located next to major transport links and are running a mini-bus from Chiswick from September 2015. We are lucky enough to have a Forest School in our grounds for outdoor learning. Here girls have the physical, mental and emotional freedom to grow intellectually in an environment which both supports and provides plenty of challenges.

We are a Catholic school which welcomes girls of all faiths. This means that we hold the care of the whole person as central to what we do.

St Augustine’s Priory has been on its Hillcrest Road site for 100 years and we represent a wonderful continuity of expertise in educating women of the future. We marked our centenary here with our ‘100 Years of Faith’ celebrations which included a visit this summer from H.E. Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.

We offer a broad and varied curriculum with rich opportunities for personal development. We believe that emotional well-being is a critical plank in success and our recent ISI Inspection report made particular mention of the outstanding personal, spiritual and moral development of our girls.

Our aim is for girls to leave St Augustine’s Priory equipped with an outstanding academic education and also with the full range of skills required to lead effective and fulfilling lives as women; as part of their journey they will acquire the skills of self-knowledge, or reflection, of intellectual risk-taking, of persuasiveness and team building and of emotional strength as well as a cultural fabric for their enriched enjoyment of life.

Come and see us. Only then will you understand this school’s outstanding setting and the nature of this community where everyone is welcome and where we enable girls to achieve excellence.
