Autumn Term Programme

We have many options for attendance, ranging from three hours to twelve weeks. The Autumn Term programme can be found in full on the website.

New Course: Art For Wellness

Amongst the new courses e will be an Art For Wellness course, and to lead this we are delighted to welcome Lisa Azarmi who will lead this course along with Trisha Krauss whose wonderful Illustration and Block Printing courses and Beginners' Art Clubs many of you already know.

Painting, Drawing and Printmaking


Serious tuition for all levels.

Nataliya Zozulya teaches Drawing Skills on Monday afternoons and Introduction to Oil Painting on Tuesday mornings.

Nick Archer offers Advanced Painting and Printmaking on Tuesdays on Tuesdays.

Simon Klein adds a new Wednesday afternoon session to his Wednesday evening oils and acrylics class.

Sophie Newnham offers Wednesday afternoon and Monday evening Watercolours and John Murphy-Woolford's Thursday class will explore Modernist approaches to master copies.

Pottery and Sculpture

Roz Wallis and her team have the world of clay at their fingertips.

Introduction to Pottery and Intermediate Throwing take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. New six week introductions are now available in addition to twelve week ones.

We are delighted to announce that Gillian Brett will resume her Sculpture classes, starting with a one-day workshop in September.

Roz Wallis will teach several Raku and Firing Workshops on selected Saturdays In November Georgia Lovell will teach a one day Porcelain Tealight workshop.

Portraiture and Life Classes


Classes taught by professional artists: ideal for both recreation and practice

Nick Archer's popular Advanced Portraiture classes resume on 10 September and John Murphy-Woolford offers an Introduction to Portraiture on Thursday evenings. Julia Hawkins will offer a Portraiture Masterclass on Sunday 6 October.

Beginners' Classes


All classes need no prior experience or skills

Young Artists' Classes


The Young Artists Club is for 9-12 years and the Further Education Art Club is to help 13-18 year olds  prepare for exams.
