Discover an exciting approach to this most rewarding of art practices.

Small groups working in weekly three-hour sessions quickly pick up and gain confidence in a wide range of skills. Key to this approach is getting you to discover your own character as a painter and to work from it. We learn all the time from the Masters – but there is no one style to copy!

No previous experience is necessary for the introductory course, but even experienced painters have found their understanding greatly enhanced and new possibilities opened up. At the end of the course there is the option to continue working with Peter on further courses covering Portraiture, Landscape, Abstraction, etc.

Intensive Introduction Course

Now running over four three hour sessions on Thursdays/Fridays 11am-2pm and Mondays 7-10pm . Various start dates in January/February/March – please enquire for details.

Cost: £160 inclusive of all materials . A reduction is available if you bring your own materials.

Spaces are available on the following Advanced courses:

• The Evening School Abstraction course starts on January 8th (Mondays 7-10pm. 8 weeks / £220).

• The Day School Abstraction course is now running on Tuesdays 2-5pm (8 weeks / £220).

• The Day School Portraiture course is now running on Wednedays 11am-2pm (8 weeks / £220).

Flexible Deal : To make it easier for you to juggle commitments, if you know in advance that you will not be able to make one or two of the dates and let me know, the course fee can be adjusted accordingly.

Courses take place at Pavilion Studios, Dukes Meadows, Chiswick W4 2RX. All classes are taught by Peter Burgess, a friendly and experienced teacher in a relaxed and supportive teaching environment.
