A programme of rolling starts – book into the next available course to join the growing band of artists benefiting from Peter Burgess's exciting approach to this most rewarding of art practices.

Small groups working in intensive three-hour sessions quickly pick up and gain confidence in a wide range of skills. Key to my approach is getting you to discover the strengths in your own particular character as a painter and to work from them. We learn all the time from the Masters – but there is no one style to copy!

After the Introductory course, there is the option to continue working with Peter in group or one-to-one sessions covering Portraiture, Abstraction, etc.

 

The New Flexible Deal : To make it easier for you to juggle commitments, if you know in advance that you will not be able to make one or two of the dates and let me know, I can adjust the course fee accordingly.

Now Booking May Starts

Places are going fast for the Evening School Monday 8th May start introduction course – please confirm your place if you have not already done so.

The Day School introduction course is now booking for the Tuesday 9th May start – places are still available.

There will be a Weekend Intensive Introduction course on 20/21 May or 10/11 June. Recommended for painters who really don't have the time to do a regular course, this weekend will at least get you started. See www.oilpaintingexpertise.com for details

Advanced courses are running from Tuesday 9 th May ( Evening School ) and Wednesday 10 th May (Day School). These are open to students who have either taken the Introduction To Oil Painting Course or who can demonstrate equivalent experience.
